France Coast - Avranches to the Loire Valley

Mont-St-Michel is a walled town with fortifications all around it. People live there still today and mostly earn their living as shop keepers or running eateries and restaurants and other tourist attractions. This is the cemetery on the church grounds with a view up to the top of Mont-St-Michel abbey.
